“Exploring Hong Kong: A Trendy New Experience”

The Ming Chuan University Alumni Association held a seminar titled “Exploring Hong Kong: A Trendy New Experience” on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in Classroom J404 of the Jihe Campus. The event featured a special lecture by Ms. Hsu Wei-Ni, Director of the Taiwan Office of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and attracted enthusiastic participation from faculty and students.

Ms. Hsu, a graduate of the Master’s Program in Tourism at Ming Chuan University, has over 26 years of experience in the travel industry. She previously worked for Cathay Pacific Airways and Delta Air Lines, possessing a strong background in tourism. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to fostering collaboration between the tourism industries of Hong Kong and Taiwan, successfully positioning Hong Kong as a top destination for Taiwanese travelers.

During the seminar, Director Hsu shared the latest tourism updates and development trends in Hong Kong. She introduced emerging travel highlights and provided an in-depth analysis of how to explore the rich cultural diversity and local lifestyle of this global metropolis. Her professional insights and practical experience not only gave students a fresh perspective on Hong Kong tourism but also offered valuable guidance for those aspiring to enter the travel industry.
